Look, the guy’s run the world for the better part of the last eight years and, whether you like what he’s done or not, dude deserves his time to strut. We can’t imagine there is a harder job on earth than presidenting these United States. So a little athleisure peacocking is in order here.
What we like best about this look is that President Obama didn’t go overboard—no drop crotch joggers in sight. He clearly read the Google Fashion Trends report. Just a simple workout ensemble in badass monochromatic black. Somewhere Rick Owens is beaming.
For a guy who’s taken some heat over the years courtesy of his dad jeans collection, it’s nice to see him upping his fashion game. It must be Michelle and Malia’s influence. We’re not sure what trendy look the president will pull of next, but we’re crossing our fingers for ’90s skater. Wonder if you can get a jump on that Supreme drop when you have the key to the nuclear codes.
