H&M released the teaser for the new Modern Essentials ad campaign featuring David Beckham and Kevin Hart a couple of weeks ago . It was a highly entertaining 30 seconds of buddy comedy antics that left us jonesing for the full length video. Well, the time for jonesing has officially come to an end.
Today H&M released the full five-minute featurette, and it’s every bit as entertaining as we’d hoped. There are snakes, an accidental trip to Mexico, exploding buses, the long arm of the law, and a lot of Kevin Hart talking.
There’s also some pretty killer clothes, which Hart and Beckham showcase in matching sets (though clearly not matching sizes). Crew neck sweaters, tees, a shearling jacket, and pajama pants are just some of the pieces highlighted from this year’s collection.
But enough about the clothes, let’s get back to the comedy. It’s solid. At some points laugh-out-loud solid. Which just further begs the question we asked two weeks ago: When are these two going to make a full-length buddy comedy movie?
Come on, Hollywood. Let’s make this magic happen.
